Adobe and Macromedia

These two giants are merging! Who would have ever thought that this could ever happen? Two companies with direct rival products joining forces. Is this good? A lot are arguing that is it not a good idea as this will put a stop to Macromedia's innovative character.

I wonder what will happen to Macromedia's products; after all is Adobe that acquired Macromedia. Let's hope that the legion of developers using Macromedia products will not suffer. For a statement on the merge go here.
